Chinese Zodiac: The Horse
Distinguished Horse, high style is your style. Self-possessed and proud, you dream of forging your own unique path through life, moving mountains, and transforming the existing order. You are active and energetic. Yet, unless you feel inclined, you may stubbornly refuse to do anything at all. Nobody can make you budge an inch. You are not lazy; you simply do precisely as you please. Nonetheless, Horse individuals are doers. You are a resolute achiever who cherishes your goals. You fear failure and will labor tirelessly to safeguard your career. Money is important to you, and you never let sentimentality impede your progress. You are even willing to step over a few obstacles to achieve what you desire from life.
Passion is the only emotion that can melt your ruthlessness into tenderness. It may even cause you to surrender the keys to your innermost soul, turn your back on family, abandon friends, and erase your past for the sake of pursuing an idyllic future with the object of your affection. Beware! Such exclusive devotion can be the ruin of an otherwise hardy and practical Horse.
Beneath a facade of near dandyism, you are oddly conservative. Your standard-striped ties may feature a shocking pink background, but they are still standard-striped ties. Your basic black dress may boast a sexy off-the-shoulder neckline, but it is still basic black. You perceive yourself as a reliable, straightforward individual. But verbally, you are outrageous, outspoken, and often inappropriate. To belong (and despite your rebellious streak, you yearn to belong), you will spend much of your life learning to control your outbursts. You are irritable and arrogant when provoked—and you are frequently provoked.
